With a length of only 1.2 km, the British Columbia Highway 41 is the shortest highway in British Columbia . It forms a connection between Washington State Route 21 and Highway 3 , the Crowsnest Highway . The first place south of the border between Canada and the United States is Danville , Washington . The BC Highway itself runs within the Carson city limits .
