The British Columbia Highway 21 in British Columbia is a compound of the Canada-United States border to the Highway 3 . With a length of 14 km it begins on the border north of Porthill and ends west of Creston .

The start of the highway is at the Rykerts border crossing . It represents the extension of State Highway 1 in Idaho . To the east of the highway is the municipality of Rykerts and Rykerts Lake. To the west of it is a small sea airfield, the Rykerts Waterdome. The highway follows the Kootenay River in a northerly direction. The highway opens up the communities of Huscroft and Lyster, both of which are east of the route. East of the highway is Creston, past the center of the village, the highway finally joins Highway 3, the Crowsnest Highway, northwest of the community .
