The British Columbia Highway 77 to the Western Canadian province of British Columbia located in the extreme northwest of the province. The highway begins at Fort Nelson and ends after 138 km at the border with the Northwest Territories .
Route
Approx. 25 km west of Fort Nelson, Highway 77 branches off in a northerly direction from Highway 97 in a northerly direction. The highway crosses the Snake River after 41 km , after another 70 km a small road branches off to the west, with which the Maxhamish Lake Provincial Park is developed. There are no settlements along the highway itself. It ends after 138 km at the border with the Northwest Territories and continues there as Highway 7. The entire highway, Highway 77 in British Columbia and Highway 7 in the Northwest Territories, is also called the Liard Highway .
