Course of the road

The Highway 14 the Canadian province of British Columbia runs along the west coast of Vancouver Iceland . The highway begins in Langford and ends after 99 km in Port Renfrew .

Route

The highway branches off in Langford from Highway 1 to the south. He meets Sooke Rd. Coming from the east, onto which he branches off and continues to the west. At Saseenos, a suburb of the city of Sooke , the highway meets the west coast of Vancouver Island. The highway follows the coast in a westerly direction through Sooke. The next 70 km to Port Renfrew run along the coast; although the highway is often only a few meters from the shore, the Pacific cannot be seen because of the thick growth of trees blocking the view. The highway ends in Port Renfrew in the center of the community. The extension of the highway leads back into the interior of the island to Lake Cowichan and meets Highway 18 there .
