Route
The highway begins west of Arras on Highway 97. The highway runs south, past the municipality of Fellers Heights, 98 km after the start of the highway comes the municipality of Tumbler Ridge . There, Highway 29 , coming from the northwest, meets Highway 52. The highway follows in a south-easterly direction and thus encloses Bearhole Lake Provincial Park and from there leads north again. 145 km after Tumbler Ridge, the highway meets Highway 2 south of the Tupper community.
