The British Columbia Highway 91 in the Canadian province of British Columbia has km in length around the 46th It is located in the metro Vancouver area and runs from Highway 99 in Delta to Highway 99 in Richmond . It is therefore an alternative route to Highway 99 in southern Vancouver .
Route
On the banks of Boundery Bay , Highway 91 branches off from Highway 99 in a northerly direction. After about two kilometers, Highway 91 branches off Highway 10 in an easterly direction. The highway follows in a north-westerly direction, a railway line and the boundary of Watershed Park are parallel. From the exit to 72nd Avenue the highway is developed as a freeway . The following transition over the Fraser River takes place over the Alex Fraser Bridge , which was opened in 1986. The bridge itself has six lanes and a total length of 2525 m. North of the Fraser the highway follows west and joins Highway 99 again in Richmond at Richmond Nature Park.
