The Daewoo Leganza was a model of the Korean car brand GM Daewoo .

When it was introduced in June 1997, it was supposed to be an inexpensive alternative to the VW Passat and Opel Vectra . At 4.67 m, he was 6 cm larger than his predecessor Espero .

In August 2002 the successor was presented under the name Evanda in Europe and as Daewoo Magnus in Asia. In Russia there was a sister brand of Daewoo under the company name Doninwest , which made the Leganza as Doninwest Condor .
