Distelshausen is a district of the municipality Windeck in the Rhein-Sieg district .

location

Distelshausen lies on the slopes of the Bergisches Land on the border with the Oberbergisches Kreis . The Baierhahnhöchsten is located to the south . State road 333 runs through the village . Neighboring towns are Kohlberg and Wäldchen in the north, Bellingen in the southeast and Altenhof in the south.

The village belonged to the parish of Rosbach and at times to the mayor's office Dattenfeld .

In 1830 Distelshausen had 17 residents.

In 1845 the hamlet had 24 inhabitants in four houses, one Catholic and 23 Protestant. In 1863 there were 25 people. In 1888 there were 29 residents in five houses.

24 people lived here in 1962 and 26 in 1976.
