Saal is a place in the municipality of Windeck in the Rhein-Sieg district of North Rhine-Westphalia . It used to consist of the two districts Obersaal and Niedersaal.

Hall is located at an altitude of 260- 290  m above sea level. NHN on the Leuscheid . Neighboring places are Locksiefen in the east and the church village Leuscheid in the southwest. The Löschbach rises in Saal .

history

The village belonged to the parish of Leuscheid and at times to the mayor's office of Herchen .

In 1830 the hall had 132 residents.
