Imhausen is a district of the municipality Windeck in the Rhein-Sieg district . The former Hundhausen district belongs to Imhausen.

location

Imhausen lies on the left bank of the Sieg im Westerwald . In Imhausen the Irsenbach flows into the Sieg. Neighboring places are Schabernack , as well as Eich and Wiedenhof on the right bank of the Sieg.

history

In 1885 Imhausen had 18 houses and 114 residents. At that time Imhausen belonged to the municipality of Rosbach and to the mayor's office Dattenfeld .

In 1944, in the course of the Second World War, there was a low-flying attack that claimed four lives.

Infrastructure

The state road 312 runs through Imhausen . There is a soccer field in Imhausen.

The Imhausen quarry nature reserve is located south of Imhausen .

Churches

The community center of the Evangelical Free Church Community Imhausen is located in Imhausen. The community has existed since 1911, the first community building was inaugurated in 1912. In October 2014, the new community center was inaugurated after five years of construction.
