Perseifen is a district of the municipality Windeck in the Rhein-Sieg district .

location

Perseifen lies on the slopes of the Bergisches Land on the border with the Oberbergisches Kreis . The place is on Landesstraße 333 . Neighboring towns are Straßerhof in the northeast, Kohlberg and Überholz in the southeast and Hau in the northwest.

history

The village belonged to the parish of Rosbach and at times to the mayor's office Dattenfeld .

In 1830 Perseifen had 36 inhabitants.

In 1845 the hamlet had 31 Protestant residents in eight houses. In 1863 there were 54 people. In 1888 there were 51 residents in seven houses.

In 1962 60 people lived here and in 1976 65 people.
