Dowiackie Nowiny is the name of a former village in the Polish Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship in the area of the urban and rural municipality Węgorzewo (Angerburg) in the powiat Węgorzewski ( Angerburg district ).
The local office of the no longer existing village Dowiackie Nowiny is located in the northeast of the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship , five kilometers northeast of the district town of Węgorzewo (Angerburg) and south of the route of the Kętrzyn – Węgorzewo (Rastenburg – Angerburg) railway . Until 2009 the name was used for a village that belonged to Kalskie Nowiny ( German Kehlerwald ); today it is only used for historical and legal reasons. An earlier German name of the place cannot be made out.
The local site is accessible only by a rough country road which from kalskie nowiny (municipality Węgorzewo) to Kaczorowo ( Katzerowen , community Budry (Buddern) ) results.
Individual evidence
- ↑ The assumption that with Dowiackie Nowiny a place called Dowiater Wald is meant cannot be proven.
