Kamionek Wielki ( German  brickworks Steinort ) is a place in the Polish Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship , which belongs to the urban and rural municipality Węgorzewo (Angerburg) in the powiat Węgorzewski ( Angerburg district ).

Geographical location

Kamionek Wielki is located west of the Mauersee ( Polish Jezioro Mamry ) in the northeast of the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship. The district town of Węgorzewo (Angerburg) is ten kilometers to the northeast.

history

The former brickyard Steinort called village was created as a living space within the Gutsbezirks small Steinort ( Polish Sztynort Mały ) and thus from 1874 in the District Steinort (Sztynort), which until 1945 the district Angerburg in Administrative district Gumbinnen the Prussian province of East Prussia belonged.
