Tarławecki Róg ( German Mittenort ) is a small settlement in the Polish Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship and belongs to the urban and rural community of Węgorzewo (Angerburg) in the powiat Węgorzewski ( Angerburg district ).
Geographical location
Tarławecki Róg is located in the northeast of the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship , eleven kilometers southwest of the district town of Węgorzewo (Angerburg) .
history
The then small town center location was on 28 March 1874 as one of Steinorter forestry related forester founded and a living space was in until 1945 - 1928 by Gutsbezirk converted - rural community Taberlack ( Polish Tarławki ). It was part of the district of Steinort (Polish Sztynort) in the district of Angerburg in the administrative district of Gumbinnen in the Prussian province of East Prussia .
In 1945, center location came like all cities in southern East Prussia in consequence of the war to Poland and received the Polish name "Tarławecki Róg". Today it is a small settlement in the network of the urban and rural community Węgorzewo in the powiat Węgorzewski , before 1998 the Suwałki Voivodeship , since then part of the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship .

Before 1945, Mittenort was parish in the Protestant Church of Rosengarten in the church province of East Prussia of the Church of the Old Prussian Union and in the Catholic Church of the Good Shepherd in Angerburg in what was then the Diocese of Warmia . Today the Catholic Church members Tarławecki ROGS belong to the parish Radzieje in the present diocese of Elk (Lyck) of the Roman Catholic Church in Poland , while the Protestant inhabitants are oriented to the parish in Węgorzewo, a filial community of the parish in Giżycko (Giżycko) in the Diocese Mazury of Evangelical Augsburg Church in Poland .

Tarławecki Róg is located on a side road that leads from Kamionek Wielki (brickworks Steinort) via Tarławki (Taberlack) and Surwile (Serwillen) in the powiat Kętrzyński ( Rastenburg district ) to Silec (Schülzen) . An overland road also connects Zacisz (southern town) with Tarławecki Róg.
The next train station is Kamionek Wielki on the railway line Kętrzyn – Węgorzewo (Rastenburg – Angerburg), which is no longer regularly operated . Until 1945, there was also a connection to the Rastenburg – Drengfurth railway operated by the Rastenburger Kleinbahnen via the Schülzen ( Polish: Silec ) station .
