Neighboring towns are Jaszkowa Górna in the north-west, Skrzynka in the south, and Rogówek and Ołdrzychowice Kłodzkie in the south-west. history
Droschkau was first mentioned in writing in 1357 and belonged to the Glatzer Land , with which it shared the history of its political and ecclesiastical affiliation from the beginning. The St. Barbara Church is documented for 1405. It initially served as a burial church and later became a branch of the church in Oberhannsdorf . 1575 Droschkau belonged as a fief to Georg Daniel on Oberhannsdorf. Since he died in 1578 without a biological heir, his property fell as a settled fiefdom to Emperor Rudolf II as the Count of Glatz at the time. In 1579 he sold Droschkau (without the Freirichtergut) together with Ober- and Niederhannsdorf to his secretary David Kober and at the same time transferred the properties into the inheritance . In 1587 the town of Glatz came to the possessions. Five years later she sold her droschkauer subjects to the local judge Georg Fischer.
After the Silesian Wars , Droschkau and the County of Glatz came to Prussia in 1763 with the Peace of Hubertusburg .
After the reorganization of Prussia, Droschkau belonged to the province of Silesia from 1815 and was incorporated into the district of Glatz from 1816–1945 . On February 28, 1874, the rural community Droschkau was assigned to the district of Oberhannsdorf. In 1939 there were 181 inhabitants. As a result of the Second World War , like almost all of Silesia, it fell to Poland in 1945 and was renamed Droszków . The German population was expelled. Some of the new residents were displaced from eastern Poland . The population decreased significantly. 1975-1998 Droszków belonged to the Wałbrzych Voivodeship (German Waldenburg ).
