history

Village center

The Waldhufendorf Wiltsch was first mentioned in 1304. Due to its border location, the part of Silesian Wiltsch east of the Höllenbach initially belonged to the Giersdorf ( Opolnica ) rule in Silesia . The part of Glätzisch Wiltsch to the west of the Höllenbach belonged to the Glatzer Land and was part of the parish of Gabersdorf. This part consisted of a dominial part and a free judge property .

The Domini Alan part belonged since ancient times to rule Gaber village and was around the year 1800 of six farmers, six gardeners , one cottagers and artisans. The judges' share was subject to the jurisdiction of the royal rent office in Glatz. Well-known owners were the Patholt, Ortler, Heinisch, Töpper and Moschner families.

The Silesian, eastern part of Wiltsch came to Prussia after the First Silesian War in 1742 , the western part (Glatzer) after the Peace of Hubertusburg in 1763.

After the reorganization of Prussia, Wiltsch belonged to the province of Silesia from 1815 . From 1816, the eastern part belonging to the Giersdorf rulership belonged to the Frankenstein district , the western part of the Dominial and the Freirichtergut belonged to the Glatz district . On October 1, 1932, the eastern part was incorporated into the rural community of Wiltsch in the district of Glatz. In 1939 there were 205 inhabitants. As a result of the Second World War , Wiltsch fell to Poland like all of Silesia in 1945 and was renamed Wilcza . The German population was expelled. Some of the new residents were displaced from eastern Poland . 1975-1998 Wilcza belonged to the Wałbrzych Voivodeship . The population has decreased significantly. Numerous houses are used as weekend houses.
