EHF European Women's Cup Winners' Cup 2000/01

At the EHF European Cup Winners' Cup in 2000/01 took 29 Handball -Vereinsmannschaften part from 27 countries. They qualified in the previous season in their home countries in the cup competition for the European Cup or, like Rapid Bucharest, as winners of the Euro City Cup 1999/00 . At the 25th edition of the cup winners' competition, Motor Zaporozhye was the first time a team from Ukraine won the cup.

3rd round

Since the European handball federation standardized the round names of all club competitions and the starting field in the cup winners' cup was relatively small, this only began with the games of the third round . The first legs of the 3rd round took place between the 6th and 13th. January and the second leg between 7-14. January 2001.

With a bye , Ikast-Bording EH , CB Elda Prestigio and Rapid Bucharest moved directly into the 4th round.

4th round
