The Epo-film is an Austrian film production company . It was founded in 1954 by Erich Pochlatko in Graz and has had its headquarters in Vienna since 1995 . The production includes feature films and documentaries for cinema and television as well as advertising and business films. Epo-Film has six permanent employees. The films are often financed through co-productions with foreign film companies.

history

Founded in 1954 by Erich Pochlatko in Graz, his son Dieter Pochlatko , who has been a cameraman for the company since 1967 , becomes a partner in Epo-Film. In 1978 he becomes the sole authorized signatory and thus takes over the management of the company. Since 1990, all film productions have been handled by the company in Vienna. In 1995 the company moved to Vienna, Graz is now a branch. In 2002 another branch was opened in Klagenfurt .

In 2016 the grandson of the company founder, Jakob Pochlatko (* 1984), became managing director and majority shareholder of Epo-Film.
