Eric Camilli (born September 6, 1987 in Nice ) is a French rally driver .

Career

Eric Camilli in WRC2 at the 2015 Monte Carlo Rally

Eric Camilli started his rally career in the Volant Peugeot series in France. In the following years Camilli drove alternately or in parallel in the ERC , WRC2 , WRC3 and in the JWRC . In the WRC2 season, he took three podiums in the 2015 season , won a total of 16 special stages and finished tenth in the overall standings with 49 points. For the 2016 season , Camilli got a contract with the M-Sport rally team to drive a World Rally Car in the highest rally class, the WRC . His co-driver Nicolas Klinger and experienced teammate Mads Østberg support Camilli on his debut.
