Eternal German leaderboard in the men's marathon

The Eternal German leaderboard in the marathon of the men is a ranking of the German Athletics Association and lists the 30 fastest German marathon runner, the date on a recognized him marathon took part.

The list has been headed by Arne Gabius from Hamburg since October 25, 2015 , who reached the finish line at the Frankfurt Marathon in 2:08:33 hours. He replaced Jörg Peter from Dresden, who had finished the 42.195 km long marathon on February 14, 1988 in Tokyo in 2:08:47 hours. The year before, Gabius had achieved a time of 2:09:32 h on his marathon debut on October 26, 2014 in Frankfurt.
