Frank J. Selke Trophy
The Frank J. Selke Trophy is an ice hockey trophy in the National Hockey League , which is awarded annually to the striker with the best defensive behavior. The winner will be determined through a poll by the Professional Hockey Writers' Association at the end of the regular season.
The trophy was named after Frank J. Selke , the former managing director of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Montréal Canadiens , and was first awarded at the end of the 1977/78 season.
