2009 NHL Awards
The 2009 NHL Awards were presented on June 18, 2009 at the Pearl Concert Theater in Las Vegas .
The event took place in Las Vegas , Nevada for the first time . The Palms Casino Resort with the associated Pearl Concert Theater will host the NHL Awards for the next three years .
Between March 30 and April 6, 2009, the 30 shortlisted nominations for the Bill Masterton Memorial Trophy were announced. For all other trophies, nominations began on April 22nd with the Calder Memorial Trophy and ended on May 4th with the NHL Foundation Player Award . Three players were proposed in each category.
