NHL Plus / Minus Award
The NHL Plus / Minus Award was an ice hockey trophy awarded annually to the NHL player who played at least 60 games and topped the plus / minus statistics at the end of the regular season.
The award was first given in the 1982/83 season. The trophy has been sponsored by various companies over the years and has been renamed accordingly:
- 1982/83 - 1987/88: Emery Edge Award
- 1988/89: no official name
- 1989/90 - 1995/96: Alka Seltzer Plus Award
- 1996/97 - 1997/98: Bud Ice Plus-Minus Award
- 1998/99 - 2007/08: Bud Light Plus-Minus Award
The 2007/08 season was the last time the award was officially presented, with Pawel Dazjuk from the Detroit Red Wings winning.
