NHL Awards 2019

The NHL Awards 2019 are the annual honors of the North American ice hockey league NHL . They were awarded on June 19, 2019 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas .

Award winners

Hart Memorial Trophy - Awarded to the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the Season by the Professional Hockey Writers' Association.

Nominated:

Ted Lindsay Award - Awarded to the Outstanding Player of the Season by the NHLPA Players Union .

Nominated:

Vezina Trophy - Awarded to the outstanding goalkeeper of the season by the general managers of the teams.

Nominated:

James Norris Memorial Trophy - Awarded by the Professional Hockey Writers' Association to the defender who demonstrated the greatest all-round skill in this position of the season.

Nominated:

Frank J. Selke Trophy - Awarded to the attacker with the best defensive skills by the Professional Hockey Writers' Association.

Nominated:

Calder Memorial Trophy - Awarded by the Professional Hockey Writers' Association to the best new professional (rookie).

Nominated:

Lady Byng Memorial Trophy - Awarded by the Professional Hockey Writers' Association to the player who excelled through a high standard of athleticism and fair behavior.

Nominated:

Jack Adams Award - Awarded by the NHL Broadcasters' Association to the coach who contributed most to the success of his team.

Nominated:

Bill Masterton Memorial Trophy - Awarded by the Professional Hockey Writers' Association to the player who showed perseverance, dedication, and fairness in and around the sport of ice hockey.

Nominated:

NHL General Manager of the Year Award - Awarded to the general manager of a franchise who has proven to be the most capable over the course of the season.

Nominated:

Art Ross Trophy - Awarded to the best scorer of the season.

Maurice 'Rocket' Richard Trophy - Awarded to the top scorer in the league.

William M. Jennings Trophy - Awarded to the goalkeeper (s) who have made at least 25 appearances and whose team has conceded the fewest goals during the season.

NHL Plus / Minus Award - Awarded (no longer officially) to the player who has the best plus / minus statistics during the season .

Conn Smythe Trophy - Awarded to the Playoffs Most Valuable Player (MVP).

Mark Messier Leadership Award - Awarded to the player who has demonstrated exceptional leadership skills during the season.

King Clancy Memorial Trophy - Awarded to the player who excelled through leadership skills, both on and off the ice, and through community engagement.
