Preliminary round

report

After winning the qualification convincingly, expectations were high, but the first game against co-hosts South Korea was lost 2-0. The Poles showed a disappointing performance against the enthusiastic and strong-running Asians. In the second game against Portugal there was an even more pronounced 4-0 defeat. The Portuguese, who had surprisingly lost the first game against the USA, literally played the once again disappointing Eastern Europeans against the wall. Poland were eliminated early after two games. In the last game, which had become meaningless, you could finally play freely and beat the USA 3-1.
