The national football team of the Isle of Man is the football team in the British Crown Estates located Isle of Man . It is controlled by the Isle of Man Football Association (Isle of Man FA).
The Isle of Man is not a member of FIFA and UEFA . So she does not play competitive matches, only friendly matches against other non-FIFA members.
The team plays regularly at the Celtic Nations Cup against semi-professional teams from Ireland , Northern Ireland and Scotland . It won the tournament in 2000 as the only pure amateur team (the other teams competed with semi-professional players). The Isle of Man also plays at the Steam Packet Football Festival , where it competes against teams from the lower divisions of the Football League . At the Island Games in 1993, 1999 and 2003 they came second.
In the 2005/06 season, the Isle of Man won the FA National League System Cup, a tournament for English amateur teams. The winner is entitled to start in the UEFA Regions Cup in the following season . 2006/07 this was the Isle of Man team.
