Henads Valyukevich

Henads Waljukewitsch ( Belarusian Генадзь Валюкевіч , Eng. Transcription Henadz Valyukevich, Russian Геннадий Валюкевич - Gennadi Waljukewitsch - Gennadiy Valyukevich * 1. June 1958 ; † thirtieth December 2019 ) was a White Russian triple jumper who for the Soviet Union started.

Life

At the European Championships in Prague in 1978 , he was fifth.

In 1979 he won the European Indoor Championships in Vienna and came second in the World Cup in Athletics .

In 1982 he won silver at the European Indoor Championships in Milan and was fourth at the European Championships in Athens . The following year he won silver again at the European Indoor Championships in Budapest in 1983 and was tenth at the World Championships in Helsinki .

At the European Indoor Championships in 1985 in Piraeus , he was fifth.

In 1979, 1982 and 1984 he was Soviet outdoor champion, 1979 and 1985 indoor.

His son Dmitrij Vaľukevič , who starts for Slovakia, is also successful as a triple jumper.
