history

The place was first mentioned by name before 1430 as "Grissenwach". The Münchaurach monastery acquired goods in Grieshof and Leitsmühle . 1637 these were sold by the monastery office. In 1730 they became a manor with an expanded lower bailiwick. They were in the possession of Herr von Dannengries.

Towards the end of the 18th century, the Grieshof belonged to Oberniederndorf . The estate was owned by the manor Sichardshof as the landlord . Under the Prussian administration (1792–1806) of the Principality of Bayreuth, Grieshof was given house number 10 in the town of Oberniederndorf.

As part of the municipal edict, Grieshof was assigned to the Münchaurach tax district formed in 1811 . It belonged to the rural community of Mausdorf, founded in 1813 . The patrimonial Sichardshof held voluntary jurisdiction and the police until 1848 . On January 1, 1978 Mausdorf was incorporated into Emskirchen as part of the regional reform .
