The Hadley Township is one of 28 townships in St. Louis County in the eastern part of the US -amerikanischen state of Missouri and part of the metropolitan region of Greater St. Louis . In 2010 Hadley Township had 34,816 residents.

Hadley Township is located in the western suburbs of St. Louis . The Mississippi , which forms the border with Illinois , runs about 10 km east.

Hadley Township is located in eastern St. Louis County and borders the city of St. Louis to the east. Within St. Louis County, Hadley Township borders Jefferson Township in the south, Clayton Township in the west and University Township in the north .

In a west-east direction, Interstate 64 runs on a joint route with US Highway 40 through the center of Hadley Township. Missouri State Route 100 runs through the south of the township ; the Missouri State Route 340 at the northern boundary of the Township. All other streets within the township are inner-city connecting streets.

By Hadley Township leading Blue Line of the Metrolink called Light rail -Nahverkehrssystems the metropolitan area around St. Louis.

A railway line of the BNSF Railway runs from St. Louis in a south-westerly direction through Hadley Township , via which Amtrak passenger trains also run.

The Lambert-Saint Louis International Airport is located about 15 km north-west of Hadley Township.
