Handball Regional League West 1970/71
The 1970/1971 season of the men's regional handball league was the second in its history. A total of 16 teams in a north and a south relay played for the West German championship. The two season winners played for the title of West German champions in 1971 after 14 match days.
Five teams had to be relegated to the upper leagues: TSV Altenhagen (Westphalia), TSC Eintracht Dortmund (Westphalia), RSV Mülheim (Niederrhein), TV Urmitz (Rhineland-Palatinate) and SC Solingen 95/98 (Niederrhein).
