Hillcrest Heights is about 35 km east of Bartow and about 80 km south of Orlando . The city is on the east bank of Crooked Lake .

Demographic data

According to the 2010 census, the then 254 inhabitants were distributed over 142 households. The population density was 508 inhabitants / km². 96.1% of the population described themselves as whites, 2.8% as African American and 0.4% as Indians . 0.8% said they belonged to another ethnic group. 5.9% of the population were Hispanics or Latinos .

In 2010 children under the age of 18 lived in 29.9% of all households and persons aged 65 and over lived in 35.1% of all households. 74.2% of households were family households (consisting of married couples with or without offspring or a parent with offspring).
