Loughman is a census-designated place (CDP) in Polk County in the US state of Florida with a population of 2,680 (as of 2010).
geography
Loughman is about 60 km northeast of Bartow and about 35 km southwest of Orlando . The CDP is crossed on a common route by US Highways 17 and 92 ( SR 600 ).
Demographic data
According to the 2010 census, the then 2680 inhabitants were distributed over 2242 households. The population density was 279.2 inh / km². 77.2% of the population identified themselves as whites , 9.7% as African American , 0.8% as Indians and 2.5% as Asian Americans . 7.0% said they belonged to another ethnic group and 2.7% to several ethnic groups. 27.4% of the population were Hispanics or Latinos .
