Adelzhausen is a municipality and a village in the Swabian district of Aichach-Friedberg and a member of the Dasing administrative community .

geography

The community is located on the Ecknach in the Augsburg region in the eastern part of the Aichach-Friedberg district , around 15 kilometers east of the city of Augsburg .

Since the municipal reform, the municipality of Adelzhausen has consisted of three districts and nine officially named parts of the municipality :

history

Until the church is planted

Archaeological evidence shows that there was a brick factory in Landmannsdorf during Roman times .

The place was first mentioned in 782 in a deed of donation to the diocese of Freising as "Adalhelmshusir". Adelzhausen later belonged to the Munich Rent Office and the Aichach Regional Court of the Electorate of Bavaria . In the course of the administrative reforms in Bavaria , today's municipality was created with the municipal edict of 1818 .

In and near Adelzhausen , the remains of various medieval buildings exist, even if only as ground monuments (see: Burgstall Adelzhausen and Burgstall Bäckerberg ).

Incorporations

On April 1, 1972, the previously independent community of Heretshausen was incorporated. On July 1, 1976, parts of the dissolved community of Burgadelzhausen were added.

Between 1988 and 2019, the municipality grew from 1,117 to 1,726 by 609 inhabitants or 54.5% - according to Mering, the strongest percentage growth of a municipality in the district in the period mentioned.

Municipal council

The municipal council consists of twelve members. Since May 2014 nine members of the “non-party voter community” and three members of the “Alternative Adelzhausen” were represented. In the local elections on March 15, 2020 , only the joint nomination of the "non-party voter community", which won all twelve seats for the 2020-2026 term of office, was submitted.

Lorenz Braun (non-party voter community) has been mayor since May 2008; he was re-elected on March 15, 2020 for a further six years until April 2026.

Economy including agriculture and forestry

In 2013 there were a total of 210 employees subject to social security contributions at the workplace. There were a total of 688 employees who were subject to social security contributions and who lived in Adelzhausen. This meant that the municipality had 478 more outbound than inbound commuters.

In 2010 there were 34 farms. In 2013, 1,085 hectares (64.0%) of the municipal area were used for agriculture, 383 hectares (22.6%) were forest. The settlement area was 204 hectares (12.0%).

Adelzhausen is located directly on the Autobahn 8 and is easy to reach via the junction of the same name.

education

In 2014 the following institutions existed:

  • 70 kindergarten places in a day-care center with 60 children (nine of them crèche children under three years of age)
  • A primary school with eight teachers and 100 students
