IC 304 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type SB in the constellation Perseus in the northern sky . It is an estimated 225 million light years away from the Milky Way and about 70,000 light years in diameter.

The object was discovered on September 12, 1890 by Sherburne Wesley Burnham .
