IC 90 is an elliptical galaxy of the Hubble type E2 in the constellation Whale in the southern sky . It is estimated to be 250 million light-years from the Milky Way and about 65,000 light years in diameter.
The object was discovered by NM Parrish on January 2, 1889 .
