Itilliatsiaq [ iˈtˢiɬːiˌat͡siɑq ] (according to the old spelling Itivdliatsiaĸ ) is a desolate Greenlandic settlement in the Nanortalik district in the municipality of Kujalleq .
location
Itilliatsiaq is located on an isthmus between the fjord Itilliatsiaap Torsukattaa and the bay Itilliatsiaap Kujataatungaa on a peninsula at the exit of the Tasermiut Kangerluat . On the other side of the fjord lies Nanortalik, eleven kilometers northwest .
history
Itilliatsiaq was an entertaining settlement. Around 20 people lived there between 1941 and 1949.
