Jacques Breuer (actor)
Jacques Breuer (born October 20, 1956 in Munich ) is an Austrian film actor , voice actor and film director .
Life
His grandfather was the Austrian actor Siegfried Breuer , his father Siegfried Breuer jr. and his brother Pascal were or are also actors.
He did his Abitur at the Camerloher-Gymnasium Freising . While still studying at the Otto Falckenberg School , he made his debut in 1975 in Brecht's Die Gewehre der Frau Carrar at the Munich Kammerspiele . From 1977 to 1979 he was a member of the Bavarian State Theater, and has been a freelance artist ever since.
Breuer became known to a broader television audience through his role as Peter Bathory in the 1979 four-part adventure game Mathias Sandorf . His career also includes participation in well-known TV series such as Derrick , Der Alte , Ein Fall für Zwei , Wolffs Revier , Weißblauegeschichte , Siska , Tatort , Der Bulle von Tölz and Café Perjury (1990-1993). In 1983/84 he had the lead role of senior veterinarian Gottschalk in Egon Günther's three-part television series Morenga .
Jacques Breuer also works as a voice actor. His well-known speaking roles include those of Aragorn ( Viggo Mortensen ) in The Lord of the Rings trilogy and Adolf Hitler ( Robert Carlyle ) in Hitler - Rise of Evil . In the television series Dirty Sexy Money he lent William Baldwin as Patrick Darling his voice. In 1991 he celebrated success at the Wiener Theater an der Wien in the musical Freudiana , in which he sang the leading role of Erik . Shakespeare's sonnets , namely the 52 Vanitas sonnets (out of 154 sonnets), Breuer spoke in 2013 in the new translation by Claus Eckermann for the Noa Noa audio book edition. From 2012 to 2015 he voiced Stephen Dillane as Stannis Baratheon in the hit series Game of Thrones .
Jacques Breuer was married to the actress Sissy Höfferer for eleven years . In 2008 he married the actress Viola Wedekind . The separation took place at the beginning of April 2017.
