James Pulliam

James Arthur Pulliam (born October 12, 1863 in Scotland County , Missouri , †  September 17, 1934 in Durango , Colorado ) was an American politician . Between 1917 and 1919 he was lieutenant governor of the state of Colorado.

Career

Nothing is known about the youth and schooling of James Pulliam. There is also no information in the sources about his life beyond politics. He was born in Missouri and later settled in La Plata County , Colorado. Politically, he became a member of the Democratic Party .

In 1916 he was elected lieutenant governor of the state of Colorado alongside Julius Caldeen Gunter . He held this office between 1917 and 1919. He was Deputy Governor and Chairman of the State Senate . After that, he no longer appeared politically. James Pulliam died on September 17, 1934 in Durango, where he was also buried.
