Samuel H. Cassidy

Samuel H. Cassidy (born January 16, 1950 in Shreveport , Louisiana ) is an American politician . He was lieutenant governor of the state of Colorado in 1994 and 1995 .

Career

Samuel Cassidy studied at the University of Oklahoma and the University of Tulsa . He studied law and became a lawyer. Politically, he joined the Democratic Party . Between 1991 and 1994 he sat in the Colorado Senate , where he led the Democratic Group for two years.

In 1993, Cassidy was named lieutenant governor of Colorado alongside Roy Romer . He held this office between 1994 and 1995. He was Deputy Governor . Between 1998 and 2000 he was CEO of the Colorado Association of Commerce and Industry . He then taught law and ethics at the University of Denver . He also practices as a lawyer.
