Warren Armstrong Haggott (born May 18, 1864 in Sidney , Ohio , † April 29, 1958 in Denver , Colorado ) was an American politician ( Republican Party ). He represented the state of Colorado in the US House of Representatives and was its vice governor .

After attending elementary school in Sidney, Warren Haggott first continued his education at Xenia College in Ohio. In 1886 he graduated from Valparaiso College in Indiana ; In the same year he began in Dallas County ( Texas to work as a teacher). In 1887 he moved to Gilpin County , Colorado, where he also worked as a teacher. From 1888 to 1889 he was head of a school in Black Hawk ; between 1890 and 1899 he held the office of school council in Idaho Springs . During this time Haggott also embarked on a career as a lawyer. He studied law and was admitted to the bar in 1892. After his tenure as a school councilor, he opened a practice in Idaho Springs.

Between 1902 and 1903 Warren Haggott held the office of lieutenant governor of Colorado; he was thus the deputy of Governor James Bradley Orman . In 1904 he was chairman of the Colorado Republican Convention .

Finally, in 1906, he was elected to the House of Representatives in Washington . Haggott spent two years in Congress and had to leave it after a failed re-election on March 3, 1909. Subsequently, he served as a judge for the second judicial district of Colorado from 1921 to 1922, after which he was president of the Vermillion Oil Company between 1925 and 1944 . He continued to work as a lawyer until 1951.
