Kühndorf (colloquially: Kḗ ⁿ dorf ) is a district of the market Lehrberg in the district of Ansbach in Middle Franconia .

geography

In the hamlet, a nameless stream rises, which is a left tributary of the Powder Bach, which in turn is a left tributary of the Franconian Rezat . Approx. The firewood is located 0.5 km to the southeast . The district road AN 10 crosses the state road 2255 to Schönbronn (1.8 km east) and Buhlsbach (0.8 km west). A community road leads to Strüth (1.7 km south).

history

The place was first mentioned by name in 1394 as "Kindorff". The most likely derivation of the place name from the Old High German word "kên" (= conifer) with the resulting meaning to the village near the conifers .

Towards the end of the 18th century there were four properties and a community shepherd's house in Kühndorf. The high court exercised the Brandenburg-Ansbach Hofkastenamt Ansbach . The village and township government had the pen Office Ansbach held. The landlords were the Ansbach Abbey (2 half yards, 1 estate) and the Ansbach owner of Appold (1 yard). From 1797 to 1808 the place was under the judiciary and chamber office of Ansbach .

As part of the municipal edict, Kühndorf was assigned to the Brünst tax district, which was formed in 1808 . It also belonged to the rural community of Brünst, founded in 1811 . In the course of the territorial reform , this was incorporated into Lehrberg on January 1, 1978.
