The 2012/13 LHJMQ season was the 44th season of the Ligue de hockey junior majeur du Québec . The regular season began on September 20, 2012 and ended on March 17, 2013. The Halifax Mooseheads won the trophy Jean Rougeau as the team with the highest points in the preliminary round . The play-offs began on March 21, 2013 and ended on May 10, 2013 with the first Coupe-du-Président win by the Halifax Mooseheads, who prevailed in the LHJMQ final against the Baie-Comeau Drakkar .

The Sherbrooke Phoenix were accepted as a new team in the LHJMQ and placed in the TELUS West Division .
