The constituency of Hanover-Döhren is a constituency for the elections of the Lower Saxony state parliament . Since the state election in 2008, it has included the city of Hanover with the districts of Bemerode , Bult , Döhren , Heideviertel , Kirchrode , Kleefeld , Mittelfeld , Seelhorst , Waldhausen , Waldheim , Wülfel , Wülferode and Zoo as well as the statistical district No. 45 of the Südstadt.

For the state election in Lower Saxony in 2017 , six direct candidates ran in the Hanover-Döhren constituency. The directly elected MP is Doris Schröder-Köpf ( SPD ). Dirk Toepffer ( CDU ) and Sylvia Bruns ( FDP ) also entered the Lower Saxony state parliament via the state list . The constituency had constituency number 24.

For the state elections in Lower Saxony in 2013 , six direct candidates ran in the Hanover-Döhren constituency. Directly elected MP is Dirk Toepffer ( CDU ). Doris Schröder-Köpf ( SPD ) and Sylvia Bruns ( FDP ) also entered the Lower Saxony state parliament via the state list .

The election of the SPD's constituency candidates attracted nationwide attention. Here there was a fight vote between Sigrid Leuschner and Doris Schröder-Köpf . The defeated Sigrid Leuschner switched to Die Linke shortly before the state election.

Landtag constituency 35 Hanover-Southeast

After the 2003 election , the state electoral districts in Lower Saxony were redistributed. The previous state electoral district 35 Hanover-Southeast was renamed to state electoral district 24 Hanover-Döhren. The district of Bult has been added , previously state electoral district 31 Hannover-Mitte .
