Lee Jinman (born January 10, 1976 in Toronto , Ontario ) is a former Canadian ice hockey player who last played for HC La Chaux-de-Fonds in the National League B on the position of the striker.

Career

Lee Jinman began his career in 1993 in the youth field in the OHL with the North Bay Centennials and the Detroit Whalers . After he was drafted in the second round by the Dallas Stars in 1994 , he moved to the senior leagues in 1996. There he was active in the International Hockey League . From the 1996/97 season he played for the Michigan K-Wings , 1999 for the Las Vegas Thunder and 2000 for a short time for the Houston Eros . In 1998 Jinman played briefly for the Dayton Bombers in the ECHL . From 1999 to 2001 he completed games for the Jackson Bandits , 1999 for the Pee Dee Pride , in the 1999/2000 season for the Trenton Titans and the Arkansas RiverBlades . In the AHL he only played sporadically, but for three different clubs: In 1999 Jinman played for the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks and the Fredericton Canadiens . 2000 for the Saint John Flames .

In 2002 he moved to Europe, where he first met in Great Britain with the Nottingham Panthers in the BISL, which played in the EIHL from 2003 . This time was interrupted by a short trip to Sweden to Timrå IK in the 2003/04 season . In 2004 he moved to the Austrian ice hockey league at EC Salzburg before playing in Switzerland from 2005.

There he began in 2005 when HC Sierre in the NL B . In his first season in Switzerland, Jinman was the top scorer of the NLB. The following season he tried his hand at the SCL Tigers in the National League A , but moved back to HC Sierre before Christmas. Jinman is widely considered adaptable, which is why he is often loaned out as a play-off reinforcement. After Sierre failed early in the 2007 play-offs, he supported the EHC Visp . In the play-offs of 2008 he played for Lausanne HC . In 2009 Jinman was brought to the NLA for the first time for the play-offs. He played for HC Davos , with whom he celebrated his first Swiss championship title. A year later he completed four games in the playouts for EHC Biel . In 2011 and 2012 he played again for HC Davos, and in 2011 he became champion for the second time. For the 2012/13 season he moved from HC Sierre to HC La Chaux-de-Fonds . In 2014 he ended his active career.
