The women's 10 km at the 1994 European Athletics Championships was held on August 9, 1994 in the streets of Helsinki .

The European champion was the Finnish world champion from 1993 and vice world champion from 1991 Sari Essayah . She won ahead of the Italian defending champion Annarita Sidoti . Bronze went to the Russian Olympic runner-up in 1992 Jelena Nikolajewa .
