The men's 20 km at the 1994 European Athletics Championships was held on August 7, 1994 in the streets of Helsinki .

The European champion was the Russian vice world champion from 1991 Mikhail Schchennikow . He won Jauhen Misjulja before the Belarusian World Cup third in 1991 . Bronze went to the Spanish world champion from 1993 Valentí Massana .
