The 100-meter run for women at the European Athletics Championships in 1994 was held on August 7 and 8, 1994 in the Olympic Stadium in the Finnish capital Helsinki .
The European champion was the Russian Olympic third in 1992 and the holder of the European record , Irina Priwalowa , who three days later also won the 200 meters . She won ahead of the Ukrainian Shanna Tarnopolskaja , later Shanna Pintusewitsch or Shanna Block. Shanna Tarnopolskaya also came second over 200 meters. Bronze went to the German Melanie Paschke .
