The men's 100-meter run at the European Athletics Championships in 1994 was held on August 7th and 8th, 1994 in the Olympic Stadium in the Finnish capital Helsinki .

The British defending champion, Olympic champion in 1992 , world champion in 1993 and European record holder Linford Christie became European champions . Second place went to the Norwegian Geir Moen , who won the 200-meter run three days later . Bronze went to Alexandr Porchomowski from the Soviet Union.
