The women's 4 x 400 meter relay at the European Athletics Championships in 1994 was held on August 13, 1994 in the Olympic Stadium in the Finnish capital Helsinki .

France was European champion with Francine Landre , Evelyn Elien , Viviane Dorsile and Marie-José Perec ( final ) as well as Marie-Line Scholent, who was also used in the run -up . Second place went to Russia with Natalja Khrushchelyova , Jelena Andrejewa , Tatjana Sacharowa and Svetlana Goncharenko ( final ) as well as Jelena Goleschewa, who was also used in the preliminary run . Bronze went to Germany with Karin Janke , Heike Meißner ( final ), Uta Rohländer and Anja Rücker as well as Linda Kisabaka, who was also used in the preliminary run .

The runners who were only used in the preliminary run also received the corresponding precious metal.
