City Church of St. Nicolai | The first documentary mention of a town church Nikolai- und Marienkirche in Luckau comes from the year 1291. The construction of the former nave was finished in the middle of the 14th century, but was replaced in the same century by a three-aisled nave, which had five bays. The west towers were now also made of brick, only the granite base remained. The reconstruction of the church began in 1656 and lasted until 1770.
